We have two rooms, Hardwick and Chatsworth – a gentle nod to Cathy’s home county of Derbyshire and the Duke of Devonshire’s homes.
Both rooms have wide views of our farm and surrounding countryside. Each room has individual temperature controls, hypoallergenic duvets and pillows, with crisp, white, cotton linen.
Each room has a luxury en-suite bathroom with a traditional deep bath and separate shower.
A selection of high quality toiletries, fluffy towels, robes & slippers are provided for your comfort and the spacious bathroom is a haven to indulgence and relaxation.
We hope you enjoy the well-stocked hospitality tray, which includes homemade treats, teas and coffees and bedtime drinks.
A comprehensive guide is in each room that includes information about our home and local information – we will be very happy to discuss your individual plans and help with other information should you need it.
Hardwick has triple aspect views taking in our farm, the view toward Bigbury and part of the moor. The colours are chosen from some of the paint colours used at Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire, a former home of the Duke of Devonshire and Bess of Hardwick during her imprisonment.
Hardwick Hall is close to Cathy’s home village and was a favourite destination for her father when he was a boy. Contact us now to plan your stay
From Chatsworth, you will see the edge of the moor and the neighbouring farmland. Chatsworth is named after the elegant Derbyshire home that was close to Cathy’s home when she was a girl. Contact us now to plan your stay
